From other peacebuilders, I learned that peacebuilding values such as consultation, transparency, honesty, and preservation of human dignity remain the same across various areas and contexts. The opportunity to learn with fellow peacebuilders from other countries not only enriched our knowledge and skills but also fortified the spirit and values of peacebuilding.

I really enjoy everything -- the community spirit, the conversations with other participants, and also the people in Minamata and Miyazaki. The course was wonderful as well. It was thought-provoking and I felt safe to express myself thanks to the facilitation of Kyoko-san and Jeram. The planning and coordination were also very detailed and organised, which was very helpful in reducing much work on my part. I really enjoyed the companionship and being in the midst of people who love, care, and truly believe in the meaning of peacebuilding work.
