I learned that peacebuilding is not only concerning to politics. It's everyday life. The methods and techniques of conflict solving I learned were very practical. I will use them with my family and my colleagues. Before NARPI I thought that I and my family's security are most important. But I learned that it's not enough. All families should live in safety because we are related each other.

I was very pleasantly surprised and encouraged to find so many active Japanese participants at NARPI. Being a South Korean, I've always been exposed to the media portraying Japanese government with an unwavering attitude towards their atrocious acts committed to Koreans during its colonial period. I realized that I had unintentionally formed prejudice against Japanese people that their attitude must be similar. Meeting and forming relationships with many Japanese participants at NARPI helped me realize this prejudice and helped me to change that prejudice.

NARPI gave me a lot of important things not only English but also about the history, identity, and relationship between countries in Northeast Asia. I'm really happy to join NARPI. Thank you for Everything. I hope we meet again!!

Learning together with new good friends and finding out commonality between the history of conflict in Korea and Taiwan was very meaningful.
